Charles Weidman’s “Lynchtown” will be performed October 12-14 2017 at 8pm with a Saturday matinee at 2pm at the Martha B. Knoebel Dance Theater for California State University- Long Beach’s BFA Dance Concert! George Willis has staged this iconic work on the dance students of CSULB.

Weidman’s Brahms Waltzes performed in Works a Foot showcase at Montclair State University
Charles Weidman’s Brahms Waltzes (1961) is being performed by Montclair State University students in their Works a Foot program on December 12-20th. Staged from the Labanotation score by Elizabeth McPherson with coaching by CWDF Board Member, Robert Kosinski.

The Charles Weidman Dance Foundation is pleased to have supported the CNDC in Angers, France by supplying video footage of Charles Weidman’s “Lynchtown” for their exhibition about the New Dance Group on display at Le Quai this May 16th- June 17th, 2016. The exhibit highlights the relationship through history between dance and US policy, specifically looking at New Dance Group and leftist ideology. If you are traveling through France, do not miss stopping by Le Quai in Angers 5/16-6/17!
